I'm an aspiring romance novelist living in the Pacific Northwest who is a devoted crafter and reader. I love to share my thoughts on the world around me as I make my way through life.

Book reviews give me a place to share my thoughts on books that I loved or hated, and a place for others to perhaps find recommendations. I will always give the applicable trigger warnings the publisher may not have included. I review many kinds of books, but mostly romance, young adult fantasy, and classic novels.

Crafting is a passion of mine, and it keeps me from spinning off into the great nowhere as I struggle with mental illness. I started crafting at the age of ten when my grandmother taught me how to cross-stitch. I taught myself to knit in 2005 and crochet in 2010. Crafting runs in my family, and all the women above my generation have at least two crafting hobbies.

Writing romance novels defines part of who I am. I started writing in 2016 and have been on an arduous journey on the way to being a published novelist. I'm currently working on a romantic suspense series. My muse sings the loudest when I listen to music, and I often share music from my writing playlists.

Beneath all that, I'm a woman living with mental illness. I've been diagnosed and in treatment since 2003, and I do my best to care for myself. I am disabled because of my mental illness, and manage the best I can with the help of my husband and cat.
