Hershey's Controversy

For International Women's Day, Hershey's Canada released an ad campaign that featured a trans woman who is a women's rights activist. And conservatives went crazy, calling for a boycott and saying Hershey's hates women and is erasing women.

The problem is that in focusing on the inclusion of a trans woman, they erased the involvement of four other incredibly accomplished, wonderful women. Pretty ironic.

Pretty shocking and controversial, right? Five women fighting to better the world is certainly something to talk about. But one of them being trans is a non-issue.
