Pocket Scarf!

I've wanted a pocket scarf for a long time but hadn't found a pattern that I liked. Then I found this one with cables on the large pockets. It's from the book 24-Hour Knitting Projects by Rita Weiss and the pattern is called Pocket Shawl, though it's really the width of a wide scarf.
The scarf is designed to drape around the back of the neck, not wind around. The pockets are big enough for my wallet, phone, keys, and gloves. I don't need a purse when I wear it!
I knitted this on size 9 needles with Lion Brand Homespun yarn. The color is not captured well. It's given the scarf a brown tint, but despite taking several shots, I didn't get one with the right color.
