Solitaire Mittens!

The Solitaire Beret I finished a while back also has a companion set of mittens and a scarf. I recently finished both.

These mittens are knitted from the free downloadable pattern Family of Mittens from Lion Brand Yarn. I substituted the recommended yarn for Loops & Threads Impeccable in forest, a Michaels exclusive.

The pattern is fairly easy. I made mittens from this pattern twelve years ago, when I was significantly less skilled, and had no trouble. There is a seam on the side of the hand which can be fairly invisible if sewn carefully.

I'm looking forward to combining the set this winter!
