Ruby Socks!

About a year ago, my grandfather passed away. It wasn't sudden. He'd been in hospice care for several months, so we all knew it was coming.

All my life, my grandfather only wore red socks, never any other color. He was well known among friends and family for his socks. A few months after his passing, I found red yarn in my stash.

Using the sock pattern I designed to fit my feet and large ankles and a stitch pattern from Vogue Knitting's Stitchionary Volume One: Knit and Purl, I designed these socks in honor of my grandfather.
