WIP: Solitaire Scarf

This Work In Progress is a scarf I designed to match a hat. The hat has a single cable running down one side, and I've taken that cable and adapted it to knit flat for this scarf.

The hat is from the book Weekend Hats by Cecily Glowik MacDonald, and the pattern is called Solitaire Beret. I'll be making the hat soon in the same yarn.

I'm knitting this on size 9 needles with Loops & Threads Impeccable yarn in forest. It's one of my favorite yarns, and I use it a lot. It is a Michaels craft store exclusive.

So far, the cable has been fairly complex and I have to keep close track of where I am in order to produce the correct twists. It's knitting up slower than the other scarf I'm working on. I'm satisfied with how it looks so far. I can't wait to see it with the beret!
